AIM specializes in surgical strike engine repairs, module maintenance, and quick turn shop visits.
Our Tucson repair facility has six engine maintenance bays, three overhead gantry systems, and all the tooling and training necessary for deep surgical strike engine repairs for CFM and LEAP engines.
LEAP engine repairs
In 2022, we became CFMI certified to inspect and repair the next generation in the LEAP family, LEAP-1B engines. In doing so, we became one of a select group of global companies to offer this service. As the LEAP-1B engine consumes less fuel and produces fewer carbon emissions than its predecessors, we are excited to be contributing to global climate change mitigation measures.
Boroblend repairs
We are boroblend trailblazers and are one of the only MROs able to provide on-the-spot FAA/EASA dual-accredited boroblend repairs to GE & CFMI, Pratt & Whitney, Rolls Royce and International Aero engines.
We’re also one of the only MROs in the world with the capability to boroblend LPT damage on CF6-80, CFM56, JT9D-7, PW2000 and V2500 series engines. We do this without the need for costly engine disassembly, saving our Customers unnecessary expense and downtime. Our capability list below gives more details.
