AIM at MRO Americas 2023 Aviation Week, April 2023

From April 18 – 20, 2023 AIM was in attendance at the Aviation Week MRO America’s annual exhibition in Atlanta, GA. The event provided the company with an opportunity to forge new connections and cement existing ones; it also provided a forum to discuss key industry trends and forecasts, receive the latest information from America’s airliners on their fleet and maintenance strategies, and delve into essential technical know-how such as cybersecurity and alternative propulsion systems.

There were “big smiles from the big MRO in Atlanta. It was a great turn-out and we enjoyed the opportunity to connect with our customers and network with new ones.”

AIM at 2023 AeroEngines Aviation Week, February 2023

AIM hosted an exhibit at the second annual AeroEngines Aviation Week with Engine Leasing, Trading and Finance Americas in Dallas, from February 8 through 9, 2023. Its participation kickstarted the company’s annual exhibition calendar and marked the second time it has exhibited at this informative and technically focussed function. This year’s attendance levels topped the 750 delegates from airlines, MROs, OEMs, lessors and suppliers who were present at last year’s inaugural event. Delegates benefitted from the opportunity to network and the interactive panel discussions on the latest trends and issues in the aero-engine and leasing management industry.

LEAP-1B Engine repairs available

In terms of AIM’s agreement with CFMI, the company is excited to announce that it has obtained official certification to repair LEAP-1B engines.  This enables its certified and equipped team to repair this next generation of CFM engines in its fully tooled engine shop. Customers’ LEAP-1B inspection and repair needs can now be serviced with AIM’s customary benchmark quality, quick turnaround, and rapid response.

AIM accepts aircraft into Coolidge for parking, storage & teardown

AIM is pleased to announce another expansion to its capabilities.

As of Oct 5, 2022, we have the capacity to receive narrow and wide body aircraft at the Coolidge Municipal Airport (P08). Located one hour North of Tucson and one hour South of Phoenix, Coolidge Airport gives the company the unique ability to position aircraft for storage, lease return, pre-purchase, maintenance and end of life solutions for customers in this area.

The new site has extensive open space, facilities and tooling, coupled with AIM’s legendary rapid response and turn times for new and existing customers’ engine and aircraft needs. The first B737-700 aircraft (pictured) was received on Oct 5, 2022 with great success.
