AIM receives UK Civil Aviation authority

At 23:00 on 31 December 2020 the UK left the European Union aviation system, and as such is no longer part of European Union aviation institutions, including the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). AIM is delighted to announce our approval for a Civil Aviation Authority of the United Kingdom Certificate as of January 10th, 2024. See the certificate here.

New aircraft teardown project commences

AIM is thrilled to announce that we have received our first project to teardown an A320 at our Coolidge facility.

This milestone further solidifies our commitment to serving as not just an engine maintenance company but as a One-Stop Shop for all aircraft and engine maintenance needs, including storage, parking, return to service, and end of life solutions.

AIM’s new teardown facility opens

AIM’s new engine teardown facility has officially opened with work on its very first CFM56-7B for teardown already underway. The service is an expansion of the company’s capabilities and is testament to its mission to be a true One-Stop Shop. All models in the CFM family can be catered for, with more engine types to be included soon.

From April 9 to 11 2024 AIM will be in attendance at the Aviation Week MRO America’s annual exhibition in Chicago, IL. AIM offers LEAP-1B Engine repairs

In terms of AIM’s agreement with CFMI, the company is excited to announce that it has obtained official certification to repair LEAP-1B engines.  This enables its certified and equipped team to repair this next generation of CFM engines in its fully tooled engine shop. Customers’ LEAP-1B inspection and repair needs can now be serviced with AIM’s customary benchmark quality, quick turnaround, and rapid response.
